Geography/History Trip to Lincolnshire
7MS spent three nights at Thurlby Youth Hostel, Lincolnshire recently giving them the opportunity to do some Geography and History work in the area.
Nearby they visited Peterborough Cathedral and Crowland Abbey, as well as Rutland Water and the Yew Avenue at Clipston in Rutland.
A day was spent in West Norfolk studying the castle at Castle Rising and doing a town survey at King's Lynn.
Also included in the visit was a visit to Kirby Hall, Northamptonshire and on the return journey they stopped at Fotheringhay.
