Boarding
There is a thriving and happy boarding community at Cheam for boys and girls. The great majority of pupils will have had boarding experience before they leave for their senior schools. Full and weekly boarding options are on offer and there is also a very popular flexi-boarding system in place where children can build up their boarding experience over a period of terms and years.
The children are housed in extremely cosy surroundings. There is a boys' floor and a girls' floor, run by a Housemaster and Housemistress respectively. The boarders lead very active lives at school and enjoy a wealth of evening activities in the programme provided for them. There are junior and senior common rooms in the boarding houses for bedtime and the children go 'upstairs' to bed at different times according to their age.
There are outings, parties and in-house entertainments which ensure that boarding life at Cheam is rich, happy and varied!
