It is always exciting to organise musical tours for the senior musicians at the School. We try and arrange a trip every other year alternating with the Sports Tour.
We are acutely aware that these are an extra financial burden on parents and weighed with considerable peer pressure. This prompts very careful choice of destination and a drive towards maximizing the whole potential of the trip. Taking children of this age away is such a fabulous experience for them, not only to share their music in different contexts and locations, but also gaining considerable pleasure and confident independence through the experience and social interaction.
We are very fortunate to work in close partnership with the Cheam Activities Fund who very generously offer financial assistance to support these ventures.
Recent tours have been planned in conjunction with a highly professional company 'Musica Europa', who work with us to offer the best level of experience for the children and the parents who kindly come to support and occasionally help. We have taken both the Senior Choirs and the Jazz Band on tour and every trip has been unique and special.

We sang at Chiesa ss Annunziata next to the Ponte Vechio and at the most idyllic church at Corsanico up in the hills. The whole village celebrated the occasion with us and made us feel so welcome. A unique introduction to the delights of Tuscany.
