Art is highly valued at Cheam and we believe that the 
development of creativity as well as visual awareness is an essential part of growing up.
We cover a broad range of disciplines and all the pupils enjoy a double lesson of Art each week. The Art studio has a ceramic and glass kiln as well as a printing press. Recent projects have included glass tile mosaics, tie-dyed T-shirts, plaster masks, silk painting and wire sculpture!
The Art Room is often open for extra curricular activities and there is a structured programme for our talented Art scholarship candidates.
We are looking forward to relocating to our brand new Art and Design Centre which will open in September 2012
